Every so often I get to tag along with J while he works, and I just love it. It makes me so proud to see all that he’s accomplishing, the gorgeous places he’s building, and the incredible way he deals with issues that come up along the way.
Last Wednesday was one of those days. I tagged along with him for the afternoon, taking photos of the various job sites we stopped at, some that were already completed, most that were still in progress, and a few that he hasn’t yet started!
By far my favorite one was the heritage-look brick job he did on a building by the lake in kelowna. There’s an adorable little coffee shop and bistro inside (Waterfront Cafe and Catering), where we of course had to stop and get a cup of coffee and a pastry!
There’s just something about watching my husband in his element that makes me appreciate him so much more. Watching everything he does, all the stuff he deals with on a daily basis, the long hours he works, to provide everything the kids and I need, my heart just swells with love and gratitude. I am so thankful for him, for how hard he works so that I can stay home and look after our littles.
Some days we just need to stop and appreciate our husbands, and all the little things they do for us that are all too easy to take for granted. A simple thank you goes a long way towards someone feeling appreciated and loved, take time to appreciate your hubby today ❤️
