This Glorious Adventure

Hello, and welcome to my very first blog ! I am so excited to be staring on this journey, it is something I have dreamed about doing for a while now. You see, my husband and I, we’re kinda crazy, we’re spontaneous, and we live our life with the view that it is one big glorious adventure (hence the blog name!). Sometimes our adventures are amazing, sometimes they the regular everyday, and sometimes they’re hard, but they’re still an adventure.

A little bit about us, me, I’m a dreamer. I have big crazy ideas, I think in pictures, I have a huge desire to surround myself with beauty, in life, in nature, in my home. But what I don’t have is the ability to make those ideas a reality.  That’s where my hubby comes in. Hes the doer. He’s actually just plain amazing. He also dreams big, has massive crazy goals for our life, and also the ability to carry through and make his goals and my dreams a reality. Together we are one crazy team. As we are both rather passionate about life and all we believe in a dream about, you can imagine that our marriage is … well, about as wild and crazy as we are ! (Side note: Part of my goal in this blog is to show reality. That yes, while I could just show the amazing crazy wonderful wild side of our life, I want to also give a glimpse into the hard side of things. Big goals don’t come without a lot of sacrifice, heartache, mistakes, and exhaustion. So just keep that in mind as you read !) We had 4 kids in 5 years, our first being born about 2 1/2 years into our marriage, and they are the reason we do what we do, we want to start them out in life further along than we were, however that ends up looking.

Also, a warning, I have what you may call “verbal diarrhea” … ok thats a really gross visual, but it gives you a good idea of whats to come ! I am very shy and quiet around new people, but once I’m comfortable around you, watch out ! It’s a never ending flow of words, of laughter, and the odd time, tears. Since blogging means I’m hiding behind my computer screen, you’ll most likely see the more wild and crazy side of me that only close friends and family members see. I’ll let you be the judge of whether that’s a good thing or not … !
